Great pair of ski pants!

Prior to this purchase, I had purchased the Obermeyer Malta Petite Ski Pants in white (which was on sale at a different website, and I bought a size 14 because I had to wear two layers under it).
I was looking for Obermeyer Malta Petite Ski Pants in black on Winterwoman. They did not have petite, but they did have these black Dalia Obermeyers. I bought a size 14, thinking they would fit the same as the "Malta" model. But they were a size too large in the waist. So I reordered a size Dalia black 12.

Now this is where I was wowed by Winterwoman's customer service. Within contacting a live person, I packed up the size 14 and sent it back to them via the UPS store and received free return shipping with their label. In only a few days, I received the replacement size 12 and it fit. I immediately received an email stating my credit card would be credited for my initial purchase of the size 14s. Really terrific customer service!

What I most like about these pants is that they are MID-RISE. They could even be 1 1/2 inches lower in the rise in front and I would be even more happy with these.

I hate wearing pants that come up to the waist....because I am short-waisted and they always come up too high. From now on, the ONLY pants I will buy are los-rise or mid-rise, like these. I wish stores had more petite lengths available, because the chance of getting a mid-rise AND a petite in a black, warm snow pant is very slim.
