Not insulated and sized big

I was searching for insulated pants and although these popped up on my search and are listed as 2-layered, they are NOT insulated.
I also had trouble deciding what size to buy based on the chart. I ended up buying large. I usually wear about a 30 - 30 pant and in the past I have had to buy one size up to be able to comfortably wear a pair of lined jeans underneath. Not necessary with these pants even with the adjustable waistband they were way to big.
They look well constructed. However, I didn't use them and can't enlighten you as to durability or performance. I hope the sizing info is helpful.
