Venting is awesome on warmer days and when hiking, but sometimes weather takes a turn for the worse. Giro’s weatherstrip vent shield in their line of snow helmets allows you to cover or uncover your top vents as weather conditions change. Velcro tabs on the inside of the helmet secure the shield when it is not being used and leave the vents open. Undo the Velcro tabs and the weatherstrip covers it’s corresponding vent.
